Operator Cancellations

Whilst every effort is made to advise guests in a timely manner, there may be times when Kakadu Culture Camp and associated tours may be cancelled without prior notice due to cultural reasons or conditions beyond the operator’s control. Cancellation charges on accommodated charters vary, depending on the various hotel policies so you will be advised of the charges before you make your booking.

The Fine Print!

While Kakadu Culture Camp will take every reasonable step to ensure the tour runs as per the itinerary, we operate in outback and remote areas and certain circumstances are out of our control. We cannot be held responsible or liable for alterations or cancellations to touring due to these circumstances and any expense incurred by the client is the responsibility of the client . These include cultural reasons, road and weather conditions, floods and other acts of nature, ill health or injury of tour guide or clients, acts or threats of war or terrorism, failure of machinery or equipment beyond our control. We will not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to belongings or property, missed flights or connections and medical evacuations. We strongly recommend all clients organise travel insurance for this purpose and no refund will be given.

Clients with disabilities are welcome on our tours provided they are accompanied by an able bodied companion, or do not require extra special assistance from Kakadu Culture Camp personnel. Kakadu Culture Camp must be advised of this upon booking. Kakadu Culture Camp reserves the right to refuse carriage to anyone who may require services and facilities that we cannot guarantee will be available, anyone who (in the opinion of Kakadu Culture Camp’s personnel) is deemed to be a hazard to other passengers, the tour guide or themselves and anyone who is deemed to be objectionable to other passengers or the guide. No refund will be issued in this instance and Kakadu Culture Camp will not be held responsible for expenses incurred by the client resulting from the client being refused embarkation or from being precluded from completing the tour. Some of the activities we offer on tour, such as cruises and helicopter flights, are not operated by Kakadu Culture Camp or any persons associated with Kakadu Camp. The client assumes all risk associated with these activities, such as injury, death, delay or loss.

A confirmed booking implies that all guests accept these conditions.
